Culiacan, Sin.- High school students from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa traveled to the Aerobic Gymnastics World Championship, scheduled in Pamplona, Spain, from September 4th to 6th. The competition will bring together athletes from different countries, solidifying its position as one of the most demanding events in this discipline.

The delegation's coach, Anagallis Peña, accompanied by Diego Castañeda, UAS gymnastics coordinator, who saw them off with wishes for success at the Culiacán International Airport, highlighted the team's intense preparation prior to the international commitment, overcoming double training sessions and the demands of the climate. "It is the most important competition in this sport. The best from each country will be there, and anyone can reach the finals; so, I believe the main goal here is to make it to the finals, and we want to achieve that," stated the coach.

Among the group, Nathalia García and Lía Leticia Peraza stand out, as they are part of the delegation that will face this global event after a highly demanding preparation process, marked by intensive training and technical evaluations that determined their qualification. Students Hanna Chavez and Danna Partida, and Anagallis Peña will also be present in Spain.

Following their participation in the Spain World Championship, some of the university gymnasts will continue their competitive journey internationally at the Pan American Championship, which will be held in Brazil.
