Culiacán, Sin.- Led by Fernando Medina León, director of UAS sports, the UAS Eagles participated in the Red Cross Culiacán saving lives race, held at the new boardwalk on the left bank of the Humaya River, this Sunday at 7 AM.

About fifty UAS Eagles ran, jogged, or walked in the 10, 5, or 3 kilometer events, including the Deputy Director of UAS sports, Olympian Itzel Manjarrez.

"It is an instruction that our rector, Dr. Jesús Madueña Molina, has given us, to support these events with a cause, especially such an altruistic institution as the Red Cross." Fernando Medina declared at the start and finish line, before heading off to participate in the Red Cross saving lives race.
