Culiacán, Sin.- Steven Arevalo, a member of the Águilas UAS men's indoor volleyball team, has finally been integrated into the Mexican U-21 national team participating in the Pan American Cup in Guatemala.
The protégé of Ulises Ontiveros, who recently won a gold medal for UAS at the ANUIES National Games, was added to the preliminary squad fifteen days ago. After a few days of training, he made the cut and secured a spot on the Mexican national team, which, incidentally, has two wins and no losses, having defeated Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
Steven Arevalo is a student at FEFYDE in Culiacán. He is a native of El Rosario, Sinaloa, and was distinguished in the past national tournament for his powerful spikes and serves, in addition to his good fielding and grit on the court.
