NIDO ÁGUILA SHINES IN SINALOA STATE YOUTH CYCLING SERIES

Culiacán, Sin.- The Nido Águila Municipal Cycling Training Center (CEFOC) concluded its participation in the Sinaloa State Youth Cycling Series with an outstanding performance, securing four championships, five runner-up finishes, and one third place in the overall standings.
The circuit consisted of six events held in the municipalities of Ahome, Guasave, Navolato, Culiacán, Mazatlán, and Concordia, where the young cyclists accumulated points to determine the state rankings for their respective categories.
The state champions from CEFOC Municipal Nido Águila were: Santiago Gerardo, in the 4-year-old category, Mateo González, in 9-year-olds, Itzel Aispuro, in 10-year-olds, and Mía Gerardo, in 11-year-olds.
Likewise, Máximo Torres (4 years old), Osmar Beltrán (6 years old), Odette Aispuro (8 years old), Cinthya Álvarez (9 years old), and Jokzan Arredondo (14 years old) earned the state runner-up title, while Valentina Félix finished in third place in the 9-year-old category.
The efforts of Matías Medina (fifth place in 4-year-olds), Ervey Obeso (fourth place in 6-year-olds), Kael Félix (fourth place in 8-year-olds), and Gael Álvarez (fourth place in 12-year-olds) also stood out, contributing to the team's remarkable performance.
In a short time since its formation, CEFOC Municipal Nido Águila has established itself as one of the most promising youth clubs in Sinaloan cycling, remaining among the state's best with the participation of 14 athletes throughout the series.
Now, the team led by Iván "El Ruso" Avendaño is focusing its training on the Sinaloa State Championship, which will take place on August 2nd in Culiacán, with the goal of continuing to achieve positive results.
