Marco Verde Keeps the Pace and Prepares to Continue His Good Professional Streak in September
The boxer from Mazatlán, Marco Verde, already has his next commitment in the ring in sight, after confirming that his return to professional activity is scheduled for September. The Olympic medalist maintains the goal of keeping his competitive rhythm after his most recent victory and continuing the development of his career under the guidance of his team led by Eddy Reynoso.
Verde, who boasts a perfect record since his debut in paid boxing with six consecutive wins, stated that the intention is to fight his seventh professional bout on the undercard headlined by Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez in Saudi Arabia. The fighter from Sinaloa emphasized that the priority is to continue gaining experience before seeking opportunities for higher-tier championships, convinced that the growth process will be key to reaching a world title fight.
The pugilist originally from Mazatlán has shown constant evolution since his transition to professionalism, after winning the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. With an agenda that aims to keep him active throughout the year, Marco Verde aspires to establish himself as one of the main figures in Mexican boxing and reach the most important challenges of his career at his peak.
