Sinaloan boxer Marco Verde, silver medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has achieved a significant accomplishment outside the ring by completing his Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS). The Mazatlán native was part of the 2022-2026 graduating class and participated in the graduation ceremony held at the university's Polideportivo, where he was accompanied by family, classmates, and faculty.

During the academic event, Verde expressed his satisfaction in completing this professional stage and thanked his parents for their support, as well as the encouragement he received throughout his studies. Also graduating at the ceremony were 217 students from the Nutrition and Gastronomy degree programs, with the Olympic medalist standing out. He successfully balanced his university preparation with his career as a high-performance athlete.

At 24 years old, Marco Verde continues to establish himself as one of the leading figures in Mexican boxing. In addition to the historic Olympic silver medal won in Paris 2024, his career also boasts gold medals from the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago and the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador. Professionally, he maintains an undefeated record, demonstrating that his academic and athletic development can advance hand in hand.
