The Mexican Professional Volleyball League will take a new step in its expansion process with the launch of its first men's competition, scheduled to begin on October 17, 2026. The tournament will initially feature six teams, marking the first edition of the men's circuit and continuing the project that began with the women's league. The competition will have a presence in various cities across the country, including Guadalajara and Aguascalientes, which will serve as host cities again, along with Querétaro, Morelos, and the State of Mexico.

One of the main objectives of the new tournament will be to combine experience and talent development. Rosters must consist of a minimum of 18 players, distributed as six foreign players, six Mexican players, and six junior players, with the intention of providing opportunities to national players and young talent from university and development categories. In this way, the LVP MX seeks to elevate the competitive level of Mexican volleyball through the interaction between national players, foreign players, and local prospects.

The birth of the men's league represents a new stage for professional volleyball in Mexico and adds to the success achieved by the women's competition during its first season. The organization plans for the matches to take place at the participating clubs' venues, bringing the spectacle to different regions of the country and generating new opportunities for players. With six franchises in its inaugural season, the tournament will aim to establish itself as a professional platform for male talent and subsequently expand its number of teams.
