ISDE and Tomateros Coordinate Efforts to Prepare Baseball Fields

CULIACÁN, Sinaloa._ With the goal of maintaining the sports facilities of the Sinaloan Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (ISDE) in optimal condition, a supervision tour was conducted of the baseball fields at the María del Rosario Espinoza High Performance Center (CAR), ahead of the start of the Tomateros de Culiacán preseason.

The tour was led by the general director of ISDE, Armando Camacho Aguilar, accompanied by Ray Padilla, advisor to the Presidency of the Tomateros de Culiacán Club, and Francisco Campos, sports manager of the 'guinda' organization. During the supervision, the general conditions of the fields and the different areas that will be used by the players were reviewed, with the aim of carrying out the final necessary work to have the facilities ready to receive the team.

The Tomateros de Culiacán will begin their preseason on Friday, September 11, as part of their preparation for the 2026-2027 season of the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico. The 'guinda' organization announced 65 players to participate in the preparation activities, who will seek to earn a spot on the definitive roster to face the upcoming season.

With these actions, ISDE reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the state's sports infrastructure in optimal conditions and strengthening coordination with professional organizations, creating adequate spaces for the preparation and development of sports in Sinaloa.
