Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Youth baseball in the city is beginning to write a new chapter. The 36th edition of the Major Youth Baseball Interleague Circuit of Region 3 is already warming up and once again brings together the top talents in the 15-16 year old category.

Representatives from the five children's and youth leagues in the Sinaloan capital are participating in this competition: Culiacán Recursos, Culiacán AC, Colhuacan, Tres Ríos, and Humaya, who are currently in the process of forming their respective rosters to face a new season.

According to Manuel Mitre, coordinator of the Interleague Circuit, the competition is expected to begin in approximately one month, so the organizations are working at full speed to finalize their rosters and arrive in the best condition for the start.

The past edition left a special story. The Bravos of the Humaya League were crowned champions of the 2023-2024 season, ending a wait of over 20 years since a team from that league had won the title. Now, the challenge will be to defend the crown against a new generation of players who will seek to write their own chapter in one of Culiacán's most important youth competitions.
