The Mexican junior national team once again stood out on the international stage after winning the silver medal in the mixed team event at the 2026 Junior World Diving Championships held in Rijeka, Croatia. With a strong and consistent performance, the national representative placed among the best in the tournament.

The team was comprised of Mía Cueva, Suri Cueva, Ian Nava, and Carlos Solórzano, who demonstrated quality and control in each dive. The Mexican team registered a total of 375.85 points to secure the silver medal, just behind the Chinese team, which dominated the event with a score of 414.55. Third place went to the Russian team, with 370.80 points. The combination of their dives, both on springboard and platform, proved decisive in staying in contention for medals against high-level competitors.
