Águilas de Mexicali Defines Coaching Staff for 2026-2027 Season
By Pavhel Rochin
Los Águilas de Mexicali have officially announced the group of coaches who will accompany manager Roberto “Chapo” Vizcarra during the 2026-2027 season of the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico. The Baja California organization will maintain a significant core of its coaching staff, with the intention of providing continuity to the work done in the previous campaign.
Ramón “Potrillo” Valdez will continue as bench coach for the second consecutive year. The former player has experience in both the Mexican Baseball League and the LAMP, in addition to having developed a 17-season career as an outfielder. For their part, Bronswell Patrick and Miguel “Pollo” Duarte will once again be in charge of working with the pitchers, after Mexicali finished last season as the team with the best collective ERA in the circuit, with 3.35.
The staff will also once again feature Francisco Villegas as bullpen coach, while Marco Antonio Quintero will remain one more season within the organization to support the manager during games. With this structure, the Águilas aim to maintain the stability of a coaching staff that already knows how the team operates and which will be key in the preparation for a new winter campaign.
