Culiacán, Sin.- The World Championships in China and the Central American and Caribbean Games are the two fundamental events on the horizon for Sinaloan karateka Jesús Moreno Bautista, a graduate of UAS Dentistry who visited Fernando Medina León, Director General of UAS Sports.

Jesús Moreno, who has represented UAS in national and international events on multiple occasions, has achieved 3 national university championships among his accomplishments. He shared his busy international schedule:

"In recent weeks, we had events in Brazil and Spain. In August, we will be at my first JCC, which will be held in the Dominican Republic, and this same year, at what would be my third World Championship. This time, the team World Championship in China. Previously, I have competed in World Championships in Chile and Indonesia," stated the student of the "Team Moreno" Academy in Mazatlán, coached by Juan de Dios Jacobo at UAS.

It is worth highlighting that Jesús Moreno is the number one national qualifier in his division (under 84 kilos) and 31st worldwide according to the World Karate Federation.
