The Tomateros de Culiacán have already defined the route they will follow during their preparation for the 2026-2027 season of the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico. The 'guinda' nine will begin their training on September 11th at the Campos del Instituto Sinaloense del Deporte (ISDE), with a call-up of 65 players, including 39 pitchers, 12 infielders, seven catchers, and seven outfielders. After almost two weeks of work, the first preparation commitment will be on September 24th, when Culiacán faces the Cañeros de Los Mochis at 8:00 PM in the Estadio Arturo C. Nahl in La Paz, Baja California Sur, as part of the Baja Series 2026.

The Baja Series will bring together the four Sinaloan clubs of the LMP from September 24th to 27th: Tomateros, Cañeros, Venados de Mazatlán, and Algodoneros de Guasave. After their debut against Los Mochis, Culiacán will continue with games in La Paz until the 27th and will then move to Los Cabos, where they will have activity on September 28th, 29th, and 30th. The preparation will continue afterwards in Sinaloan territory, with commitments in San Miguel, El Fuerte, and Guamúchil, before playing the last two preparation games, dubbed 'Juegos Con Causa' (Games for a Cause), scheduled for October 10th in Culiacán and October 11th in Mazatlán.

The 'guindas' competitive calendar will continue on October 14th, the date marked for the season's inauguration in Mazatlán, while on October 15th, Tomateros will make their home debut at the Estadio Tomateros, where they will host Venados de Mazatlán in a new edition of the Sinaloan classic. During the first part of the campaign, Culiacán will also have series against Algodoneros de Guasave, Mayos de Navojoa, Cañeros de Los Mochis, Yaquis de Obregón, and Charros de Jalisco, in addition to later facing Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Águilas de Mexicali, and Nayarit. The schedule includes 22 series, divided into 11 home games and 11 away games.

With a base of 65 players called up and a preseason that will span two states, Tomateros will aim to arrive in optimal condition for the start of the campaign. Among the players considered for the training are names like Joey Meneses, Ramiro Peña, Fernando Villegas, Fabricio Macías, Manny Barreda, Luis Cessa, and Víctor González, in addition to guests Germán Revilla and Rommel Quezada, who will be outside the roster. Official activity will kick off with training on September 11th and will conclude with the start of the season, in which the organization will once again seek to compete for the Mexican Pacific League championship.
