Dorados de Sinaloa suffered another home defeat in the Apertura 2026 of the Liga de Expansión MX, falling 1-0 to Alacranes de Durango at the El Encanto stadium, during matchday 10. El Gran Pez struggled to create clear chances during the match, while the visitors capitalized on one of their opportunities to secure the three points.

The only goal of the game came in the 63rd minute, when a turnover in Dorados' buildup allowed José Reyes to take the ball and unleash a right-footed shot from outside the box. The strike beat goalkeeper José Castro to make it 1-0. Before the goal, Dorados had little offensive presence, while Alacranes had already created danger through Jair González and Jesús Escoboza.

With the loss, Dorados remained on 13 points and dropped to 11th place in the standings, falling out of the liguilla spots. Alacranes de Durango, on the other hand, reached 14 units and overtook the Sinaloa team in the table, placing them in 10th position. El Gran Pez will look to bounce back in matchday 11 when they visit Leones Negros de la Universidad de Guadalajara.
