Doraditos de Sinaloa Returns to Liga TDP After Two Years Away

After two years out of competition, Doraditos de Sinaloa are ready to return to the Liga de Tercera División Profesional (Liga TDP) to compete in the 2026-2027 season. The Sinaloan squad will be managed by Sergio “Bachi” Quiroz and has been placed in Group 16, where they will face 11 teams: nine from Nayarit and two from Jalisco. The edition will feature 18 groups and 247 clubs.

The official return of Doraditos is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, when they visit Xalisco FC at the Unidad Deportiva Landareñas in Nayarit, at 3:00 PM Sinaloa time. Subsequently, the Sinaloan squad will make their home debut on Saturday, October 3, when they host VADS at 11:00 AM on the alternate field of the El Encanto stadium, a venue that will mark their first match on Sinaloan soil in this new chapter.

The first half of the championship is scheduled to conclude on December 6, while the activity will resume during the first half of January. Currently, Quiroz is working with the squad on the Sagarpa fields in Culiacán, where a good portion of the project's players are concentrated, while the board and coaching staff are looking to finalize preparation matches before the debut. Dorados also becomes the only franchise from Sinaloa participating in this edition of the Liga TDP, facing the challenge of competing again in the professional circuit after two seasons of absence.
