5 Sinaloans Part of Dorados' Squad for Apertura 2026

Dorados de Sinaloa will feature six players born in Sinaloa within their squad to compete in the Apertura 2026 tournament of the Liga de Expansión MX. All players are originally from Culiacán, reflecting the presence of local talent in the team coached by Luis "Chuleta" Orozco.

The Sinaloan players registered are José Castro (goalkeeper), Sebastián Cervantes (defender), Marcos Flores (attacking midfielder), Brandon Ordorica (midfielder/defender), and Francisco Contreras (midfielder). With this core of local footballers, the Sinaloan club maintains a significant representation of players developed in the state within its roster for the 2026 campaign.

The presence of these six players reaffirms Dorados' commitment to promoting Sinaloan talent in professional soccer. In a tournament where the club aims to be a protagonist in the Liga de Expansión MX, the players born in Culiacán will have the opportunity to contribute experience and youth to strengthen the team throughout Apertura 2026.
