Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The Pacific Basketball League (CIBAPAC) is preparing to launch its 2026 season, the 11th edition, with a total of 23 teams from 10 states across Mexico. The campaign is scheduled to begin on August 28, under the leadership of league president César Ojeda, who heads this professional basketball circuit.

For this eleventh edition, CIBAPAC will have representation in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Oaxaca, and Chiapas. Among the participants are Serpientes de Tijuana, Titanes de Tijuana, Gorilas de Tecate, Bandidos de Mexicali, Toros de Mexicali, Lobos de Ensenada, Guaycuras de La Paz, Pelícanos de Cabo San Lucas, Colorados de San Luis Río Colorado, Guinda de Nogales, Águilas de Naco, and Vaqueros de Agua Prieta; along with Paskolas de Navojoa, Mineros de Parral, Jaibos de Tampico, Gallos de Aguascalientes, Soles de Los Mochis, Guasave, Guerreros de Navolato, Escuderos de Jalisco, Iguanas de Puerto Vallarta, Chapulines de Oaxaca, and Ocelotes de Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

With this distribution, CIBAPAC 2026 maintains its presence in various regions of the country and will reach its 11th season with 23 quintets ready to compete starting August 28. It is consolidating itself as a national league that supports Mexican basketball players.
