Culiacán, Sin. Sinaloa Autonomous University's gymnastics program was delighted to host world aerobic gymnastics champion Josafath Iván Veloz Velázquez this past weekend. He is a 3-time World Champion in the years: 2014, 2015, and 2024.

The multiple World Cup medalist was at the university this weekend for an intensive gymnastics training clinic with all categories: National Development, Youth, Junior, and Senior from Sinaloa Autonomous University.

Parents, coaches, and the UAS united to bring this Mexican aerobic gymnastics celebrity. The clinic was highly beneficial, especially for the Sinaloan gymnasts who will be participating in international events in Spain and Brazil in the coming weeks.

Diego Castañeda, coordinator of the UAS gymnastics gym, expressed his gratitude to the 11-time Pan American Champion, Iván Veloz, for accepting the invitation. He also thanked the parents and coaches for this investment in their daughters' training.

UAS aerobic gymnastics coaches Anagallis Peña, Geovanny Ornelas, and Obed Aguilar were also present at the clinic, overseeing the work.
